The Royal Solaris Cancun is an all-inclusive resort, marina and spa located in southern Cancun. It boasts four restaurants, three bars, a gorgeous tropical pool and a kids club, making it the perfect destination for families and travelers who want lots of variety.

The El Rey Mayan ruins and Parque Nizuc/Wet'n Wild Cancun are located within two miles of the resort making it especially easy to arrange day trips that the entire family can enjoy. Guests can also partake in various water activities including kayaking, windsurfing and snorkeling in Nichupte Lagoon, accessible through the marina. The placid waters and proximity to the hotel make it the ideal spot for a day of sun and fun.

At the Royal Solaris Cancun, the tropical pool complex features an expansive two-level pool with an upper level cascading into a two-section lower level. While swimming in the lower level, guests can refresh themselves with an exotic libation from the swim-up bar.

The resort also features countless activities on site for guests to enjoy through the all-inclusive plan. There are Spanish lessons or dance classes, and the gym offers several aerobics classes. The helpful staff can arrange many other recreational activities for guests to enjoy located near the hotel including a round of golf at two nearby 18-hole courses.

Through the all-inclusive plan, guests also have access to many activities and equipment for water and land sports including snorkeling, beach games, kayaks, tennis, bicycle tours, beach volleyball and miniature golf. They can even go to a complimentary scuba diving demonstration.

The family-friendly amenities at this resort include a kids club. Video games, crafts and painting classes are among the supervised activities. The club is available to guests ages 4-10 until 1 p.m. and to older children from 4-8 p.m. A babysitting service is also available at the hotel for an additional charge.

The Royal Solaris Cancun has 300 air-conditioned guest rooms. All of them include a 21-inch television with satellite programming, clock radios with CD players and direct-dial phones.

With four restaurants, the hotel offers an assortment of dining experiences. The majority of meals, beverages, taxes and tips are all included as part of the all-inclusive amenities. The restaurants feature international and Mexican dishes. There are several bars located on site. There is one lobby bar that offers guests an intimate setting to enjoy some cocktails while relaxing on the plush seating.

In the evenings guests can also let loose at one of the Royal Solaris Cancun's special themed parties including Hollywood Night and Broadway Street. There is additional evening entertainment that features a variety of different shows. Along with the nightly entertainment, there are plenty of places for guests to explore in the evening on Boulevard Kukulcan. Located near the hotel, this street is home to some of the area's most popular restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

Holidays at the Royal Solaris Cancun are a wonderful time to visit because there will be added excitement at the resort with no additional charge. Visitors who come during Christmas, staying between Dec. 24, 2011-Jan. 1, 2012, can celebrate with an array of seasonal happenings. This includes a traditional Mexican Posada featuring a pinata, carols at the nativity scene, Mexican fruit punch and candy. There were also be a traditional dinner and a show at the main theater with a spectacular Christmas buffet and live music. A special Christmas à la carte menu will be offered at Café Solaris and a traditional Christmas mass in English and Spanish will be held on Christmas Day. Plus, children will love the Dec. 25th appearance of Santa Claus in the main lobby, replete with gifts and candy. The New Year's Eve celebration is also a fun one. It includes a gala dinner show in the main theater with a spectacular buffet consisting of seafood, steak, international cuisine and an open bar or there will be special menus at the Café Solaris. At midnight, enjoy a toast with fireworks, dancing and live music at the main entrance.

The Honeymooners' Special: Guests receive one complimentary bottle of domestic sparkling wine, one complimentary fruit basket and an upgrade to an ocean view room (based on availability).Guests must present their certificate of marriage upon check-in and the marriage must have taken place within 15 days of arrival.
The Senior Citizen Promotion: Guests receive one complimentary fruit basket. They must be 65 or older and show proper ID upon check-in.
The Single Stay Promotion: Guests receive a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view room. If an ocean view room was originally booked, then they receive a complimentary 45-minute massage in the spa or ocean view palapa. This is good only with single occupancy bookings. Upgrade is subject to availability and request at check-in. Promotion can not be combined with any other special.

Last but not least, the Royal Solaris Cancun is proud of its ongoing clothing donation program. Guests can bring a clean item of clothing in good condition to the front desk during their stay and the hotel will deliver it to local families in need.
