Although the adults-only Hotel Fontán Cozumel offers minimalist accommodations, the sweeping Caribbean views, ocean pool and on-site pier are a big draw to vacationing guests. The modest four-story hotel, which was completely refurbished in 2007 and is particularly popular with divers, contains 40 standard rooms and seven suites. They all boast views of the Caribbean Sea from private balconies along with a satellite television, telephone, table with two chairs, closet and bureau. Wake-up calls are also available for guests. 

Hotel Fontán Cozumel maintains one on-site restaurant. Acuario serves a variety of international dishes from an à la carte menu. Room service from the restaurant is also available to guests for a limited time each day. Other dining options include nearby local eateries, as well as restaurants in surrounding hotels.

A mini-market is on the hotel premises, as well as a scuba diving shop outfitted with rental equipment and related gear.

The hotel grounds include an infinity pool surrounded by lounge chairs for guests to enjoy, as well as an ocean pool on the beach. Guests interested in sport fishing, scuba diving and snorkeling can take advantage of the beachside tour desk, which offers these experiences for an additional fee. A pier on the beach just in front of the hotel is the starting point for many excursions.
