Standard - All Inclusive

Qualton Club Ixtapa Standard Room with One King

This room comes with one king or two queen beds. There's a terrace or balcony with views of either the resort's gardens or the Pacific Ocean. The décor features white walls and ceramic tile floors. In addition to a closet and two nightstands, amenities include a cable TV and a safe-deposit box. Smoking and nonsmoking rooms are available.

The bathroom has a shower only.

The all-inclusive plan includes:

Description

Widely considered Mexico's undiscovered gem, Ixtapa boasts miles of pristine shoreline along a breathtaking bay. Located right on the beach and just minutes from the city's commercial center, the all-inclusive Qualton Club Ixtapa is a charming resort that's sure to rank among the best vacation spots of your life.

With 152 rooms, the property isn't grand in size. However, everything is spread out in 10 buildings amid seven acres of beautiful tropical landscaping with ecological areas. The clean and comfortable rooms, which feature white walls and ceramic tile floors, offer a light, breezy décor. There's a private balcony or terrace perfect for taking in the surroundings. Guests also have air conditioning, a safe-deposit box and a cable TV at their fingertips.

Instead of a laundry list of room amenities, the Qualton Club Ixtapa is better known for its laid-back vibe and for having so many activities that you won't know where to begin. There are two swimming pools on the premises, one for families and one for adults only. Boogie boarding, kayaking and windsurfing are available on the beach. Plus, guests can go snorkeling, scuba diving, sport fishing, jet skiing and parasailing in the vicinity.

Several activities on land provide excitement for the entire family as well. There are courts for beach volleyball, tennis and basketball. Bicycling tours and eco-hikes are offered daily. Billiards and a selection of board games can be found in Margaritas Bar. In the evenings, guests can even take in a show or go dancing at the Hola Ola Disco.

Add to all of this good food from the restaurant -- Restaurante Villalinda -- where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets while looking out at the deep blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. Snacks are also served throughout the afternoon by the pool and during the evening in the lobby.

At a pier located next to the resort, small boats called "pangas" ferry guests to the golden sands on Ixtapa Island. Those interested in journeying farther can go shopping and sightseeing in Ixtapa or visit the Old World fishing village of Zihuatanejo.
