Sportfishing is another popular activity in the area. Solmar's fleet can handle groups of up to six people and mainly targets billfish including striped, black and blue marlin. Each boat comes with top-of-the-line equipment, a cooler with ice, a captain and a sailor. Fishing licenses, beverages and bait are additional.
Other activities include parasailing, snorkeling and scuba diving, renting jet skis and kayaking.
Through Solmar, guests can plan destination weddings at one of the company's sister properties. Ceremonies range from an intimate 25-person event to a grand affair of up to 100 people. The ceremonies take place on the beach and packages may include chairs, tiki torches and hors d'oeuvres.
