Description
The Real Playa del Carmen is a tropical village-style resort that offers a number of activities and complete relaxation, located just steps from Playa del Carmen’s Fifth Avenue. This famous street is a bustling pedestrian strip with boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and nightclubs.
The resort offers 53 guest rooms situated in a four-story property. Each guest room features satellite television, bathrooms with showers only and balconies. Additional amenities include air conditioning, separate sitting areas and iron/ironing boards. Rooms are accessible via exterior corridors.
The Real Playa del Carmen features all-inclusive room rates and room-only rates. The all-inclusive rate includes three full meals a day plus all-day snacks at the 24-hour all-inclusive club. The all-inclusive plan also features festive theme nights, unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a daily activities program, nightly entertainment, waiter service around the pool and beach club, all gratuities and hotel taxes.
Surrounded by palm trees and tropical gardens, the hotel's pool area is the perfect place to relax under the sun. Around the pool guests will find plush lounge chairs and a friendly wait staff ready to take your next drink order. There is also a children’s pool.
The Real Playa del Carmen’s private beach club is a quick complimentary shuttle ride away from the hotel (or an easy 10 minute walk). Kayaks and snorkeling equipment are provided for guests there.
Daily activities are plentiful with programs for kids and adults including beach soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis and ping-pong. Bicycles are provided for guests to explore Playa del Carmen. Optional activities are available for an additional fee including wave runners, jungle tours, cocktail cruises and diving trips to Cozumel. Mayan site excursions can also be arranged by the hotel.
Real Playa del Carmen features several restaurants and bars and a 24-hour all-inclusive club. The all-inclusive club features self-serve snacks, an international open bar, table games, ping-pong and billiards for guests to enjoy at every hour. The club is exclusively for all-inclusive guests.
The other restaurants offer different cuisines and dining experiences. At Albatros, guests will find casual buffet-style dining and cooking stations. This restaurant features international favorites that the whole family will love. Maria’s features superb Mexican cuisine served in a tropical Caribbean atmosphere. Trade Winds snack bar is located at the beach club and features an array of snacks and a fully stocked bar. There is also a Trade Winds located poolside where guests can cool off with their favorite drink.
